For those of you who have been reading the “annals of heartlessness” series on this blog – already 29 stories about the uncaring among us: it has probably destroyed your faith in humanity, or at least inflicted some serious damage. In which case, two images that may restore it:
Even genocidal bastards can be nice sometimes.

And the necessary corrollary: that nice people can have a little bit of genocidal meanness deep inside them
Yes, an example would be this controversial book: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitler's_Willing_Executioners
But, y’know, just because the guy’s a soldier in the Nazi army doesn’t mean he’s a Nazi too… The uniform, by the way, looks like Wehrmacht, not SS…
PS; By the way, not only the genocidal maniacs can have a nice side to them, many, if not most of the torturers and murderers from the 70′s Latin American dictatorships were wonderful people in their families. Even when the children had been kidnapped from slaughtered victims of the dictatorship itself. It’s amazing and troubling.
Yes, more likely Wehrmacht. Who, by the way, were often also Nazi members and just as brutal.
